I really enjoyed being the photographer at Matt and Courtnie’s wedding. They are a Raleigh based couple and a great match. Courtnie is definitely a southern girl and at the time worked at a local 4×4 off road shop. They were a very passionate couple, as the photos show, both in laughter and in tears. She was her daddy’s world and hearts broke when the Father/Daughter dance took place. Halfway through the dance I paused to look aroundand all the men in that room who had daughters, be they 2 yrs old or parents themselves, were fighting back tears. Its great to see that kind of love in a family, especially as one member is venturing out and starting a whole new life.
The wedding was at the Wagner House in Clayton Nc. Its a very cute place, set up nicely for a smaller wedding, probably up to 80 comfortably, or a few more if you don’t mind bumping elbows occasionally. It was the perfect day for a wedding. Amazing weather during the day that would make any wedding photographer sigh in relief, and I think it made the bride happy too :). It gave way to a calm cool May 2nd night that was perfect for this venue, as the party took place indoors and out. Matt, Courtney, and the majority of the bridal party were in their early 20’s and this showed in their energy that day and night! They were all a blast to photograph at the wedding, with lots of laughing, joking and hugs for everyone. It was very obvious that Matt and Courtnie really care for each other and that they had developed a real bond with their friends that they had asked to be in the wedding. Like all my couples, these two had a great time at their wedding, and made sure everyone else did too! I’m very glad I had the opportunity to be their wedding photographer and I hope you enjoy viewing the photos too!!
